KIEV, Feb. 17 – Ukraine reduced exports of non-processed (premium) aluminum by 45.5% in terms of volume, to 66,315 tons, and by 66.8% in money terms, to $106.305 million, in 2009, year-over-year, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Export deliveries were made to Turkey (29,671 tons worth $41.171 million), Japan (8,506 tons worth $13.377 million), Britain (9,408 tons worth $20.587 million), Slovakia (5,063 tons worth $9.054 million) and other countries. Ukraine also exported 0.622 tons of aluminum worth $1.102 million to Russia.
