KIEV, Feb. 12 – Strong Ukraine Party leader Sergiy Tyhypko said that he is concerned over the construction of the Nord Stream gas pipeline and over the fact that the Ukrainian gas transportation system is not being modernized.

"Only the creation of an international consortium could save the Ukrainian gas transportation system," he said, while commenting on reports that the Finnish government had granted a final permit to build the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
