KIEV, Feb. 11 – President Viktor Yushchenko has signed a decree declaring the city of Kalush and the villages of Kropyvnyk and Sivka-Kaluska in Ivano-Frankivsk region environmental disaster zones.

The areas will be declared environmental disaster zones for 90 days from the moment of the decree coming into effect. The decree will come into effect when the law of Ukraine on this decree's adoption comes into effect. President Yushchenko has submitted a relevant draft law to Parliament.
