KIEV, Feb. 8 – The share of bad loans in Ukraine in December 2009 grew by 0.6 interest point to 9.4% as of January 1, 2010, the National Bank of Ukraine reported.
The amount of bad loans in monetary terms in December expanded by 7.1%, or UAH 4.618 billion, to UAH 69.935 billion.
Over the 12 months of 2009, the bad loans soared by 3.9 times, or UAH 51.92 billion, from UAH 18.015 billion.
