KIEV, Feb. 8 - New car sales in Ukraine in January plunged by 64% compared to January 2009, to some 7,500 cars, according to Auto-Consulting information and analytical group.
"In January the car market shrank by 64% compared to the crisis period in January 2009. No more than 7,500 cars were sold, and there has been no precedent for this in Ukraine before. Actually, the market sank to the 2000 level," Auto-Consulting said.
