KIEV, Feb. 8 – Yuriy Yekhanurov, a close ally of President Viktor Yushchenko, is considered as a possible nominee as the next prime minister to form a new governing coalition in Parliament, a lawmaker said Monday.

Yekhanurov, who led the government in 2006, is a member of Yushchenko’s Our Ukraine, a party that may help create the new coalition with the Regions Party.
