KIEV, Feb. 4 – The Russian leadership has said it is ready cooperate with whoever wins the presidential election in Ukraine, but it would be slightly better for Russia if presidential candidate and current Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko wins the presidential election, Russian political scientist Stanislav Belkovski has said.
"The Kremlin is ready to cooperate with any future president of Ukraine… But, of course, for official Russia a victory by Yulia Tymoshenko is a little better result of the election. Not just because a psychologically good partnership has formed… but also because, in fact, a single center of power will be formed if Yulia Tymoshenko wins the election," Belkovski said at a press conference in Kiev on Wednesday.
