KIEV, Feb. 3 – Ukrhydroenergo, the operator of all large hydroelectric power plants on the Ukrainian sections of the Dnipro and Dniester rivers, is currently in talks with the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the possibility of attracting loans for the construction of Kakhovska hydroelectric power plant No. 2, Ukrhydroenergo Chairman Semen Potashnyk told journalists on Wednesday.
"Talks are now going on between Ukrhydroenergo, the Fuel and Energy Ministry of Ukraine, the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on the construction of Kakhovska hydroelectric power plant No. 2," he said.
