KIEV, Jan. 25 – Six Ukrainian-made missile carriers were launched on the international space service market in 2009, which helped Ukraine to be fourth along with China in the world's rating of space states, the National Space Agency of Ukraine announced.
Three launches of the Zenit-3SLB missile carriers were carried out from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan as a part of the Land Launch project last year, and one Zenit-3SL missile carrier was launched from the sea pad in the Pacific as a part of the Sea Launch international project, and one Dnepr from Baikonur and one Cyclone-3 missile carriers from the Plesetsk (Russia) were also launched.
