KIEV, Jan. 22 – The Construction Materials Plant group of companies has postponed the building of a second stage of a reinforced products facility at Construction Materials Plant One in Nova Kakhovka (Kherson region), which has a production capacity of 300,000 tons of cubic meters of products per year, until the second half of 2010, while earlier the group planned to start the building of the plant in December 2009.
"In H2 2010 [the building of a second stage is planned]. The market is not yet active enough. It was hard to get financing. We expect that after presidential election, when there's a fall in total risk level in the country, we'll manage to raise funds from foreign banks," the plant's director, Ivan Vinnyk, told Interfax-Ukraine.
