KIEV, Jan. 19 – Parliament has on its second attempt overridden a presidential veto of a law declaring a moratorium on farmland sales until January 1, 2012.

A total of 326 MPs out of the 466 registered in the parliament's session hall on Tuesday voted to overrule the veto.

Earlier on Tuesday, Parliament failed to overrule the veto and planned to return to the issue at a meeting on Thursday.
