KIEV, Jan. 18 – Diesel fuel production, imports and exports in 2009 fell by 17.6% due to the financial crisis, to 4.36 million tons.
According to the A-93 consulting group, the fall in diesel fuel production last year indicates that its consumption in the country fell.
The group said that crisis led to a fall in the amount of key petrol types consumed by the private sector, which went down by 10.7%, to 4.24 million tons. In particular, A-95 petrol production, imports and exports in 2009 shrank by 8.9%, to 2.47 million tons.
