KIEV, Jan. 15 – President Viktor Yushchenko said he is concerned over the situation with the observance of human rights with regard to receiving salaries and pensions.

"Citizens and public organizations are addressing me in connection with the violation by the Ukrainian Pension Fund's agencies of the pension payment schedule and debts on salaries to the employees of budget-sustained institutions, which, according to the regions, total nearly UAH 1 billion," reads a letter he sent to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
