KIEV, Jan. 13 – Ukraine's commercial banks, taking into account signs of the stabilization of the monetary and credit market, have cut rates on their active transactions, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
According to the NBU, the average weighted rate on credits in hryvnias fell from 21.6% in December 2008 to 19.6% in December 2009, and for credits in foreign currency from 12.6% to 10.2%.
