KIEV, Jan. 11 – Opposition leader Viktor Yanukovych on Monday rejected the idea of live televised debates with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, calling the debates the “championship of lies.”

But Tymoshenko responded immediately by calling Yanukovych a “coward,” adding that he probably does not fit the post of president due to his “intellectual capacity.”
