KIEV, Dec. 28 – Official information on Ukraine's state debt at the end of November, which was made public by the Finance Ministry on Monday, does not contain data on Special Drawing Rights worth about $1.8 billion obtained from the International Monetary Fund and converted by the Ukrainian government in November 2009.
According to the announced data, the Ukrainian government owed $5.032 billion to the IMF as of the end of November, which was a mere $63 million up on the previous month, and, most likely, is connected with the fact that SDRs became more expensive against the U.S. dollar.
