KIEV, Dec. 17 – Deputy Prime Minister Hryhoriy Nemyria, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko’s foreign policy chief, left for Washington on Thursday to join a finance ministry team seeking resumption of lending from the International Monetary Fund.
Nemyria is expected to stay in Washington on Thursday and Friday as Ukraine seeks to persuade the IMF to disburse at least $2 billion before the end of December.
