KIEV, Dec. 16 – The National Bank of Ukraine has extended a moratorium on the satisfaction of the claims of creditors of Kiev-based Rodovid Bank for another three months, said Serhiy Scherbina, the temporary administrator of the credit and financial institution.
"The moratorium was prolonged until March 15, 2010. This is linked to the fact that we have not yet taken assets from Ukrprombank, [and are] continuing the payment of deposits to Ukrprombank depositors. We've serviced only one third of the depositors in Ukrprombank," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
