LVIV, Dec. 15 – The Dnistrovska pump storage plant will finally open this month, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said at the Lviv regional television and radio broadcasting company.

"The most powerful pump storage plant in Europe has remained uncompleted for 25 years – the Dnistrovska pump storage plant. We finished it in a crisis year, and in December we will launch it. This is [part of] our energy independence," she said.
