KIEV, Dec. 10 – Knauf Group (Germany) is performing geological exploration work at a number of gypsum fields in western Ukraine to search for raw materials for a plant it is to open in the region, said Oleksandr Havrysh, the director general of Knauf Gips Kiew Ltd., part of the group.

The plant, which is to produce plaster slabs and dry construction mixtures, will be the third enterprise of the company in Ukraine.
