KIEV, Dec. 8 – Ukraine considers Russia one of its most effective partners in the nuclear energy sphere, although the country does not see grounds for stopping talks and cooperation with U.S. and French companies, Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko said in an interview with the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia newspaper.
"Russia is one of the most effective [partners] from the point of price and the most attractive terms for cooperation in the nuclear sector. I think that Russia's participation in tenders for the construction of new reactors and nuclear fuel production facilities as a part of the realization of the concept for the creation of nuclear fuel cycle elements, as approved by the National Security and Defense Council, is justifiable," Poroshenko said.
