KIEV, Dec. 8 – The Black Sea Shipyard, a state-run joint-stock holding company based in Mykolaiv, will be the producer of a new corvette for the Ukrainian navy, a well-informed source in the government has told Interfax-Ukraine.

He said that a respective decision had been taken following a Defense Ministry tender announced early in November 2009.
