KIEV, Nov. 27 - Ukraine expects to borrow $12.5 billion from international financial organizations for development projects in 2009-2012, Anna Bilokolos, deputy director of the Economy Ministry's Department for Cooperation with International Financial Organizations, said at an economic forum on the financial potential of Ukrainian cities.
"We plan to borrow $12.5 billion in 2009-2012 for 46 priority economic and social development projects, and to receive approximately $1.2 billion in technical assistance," Bilokolos said.
