KIEV, Nov. 27 – The National Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine and the Ministry of the Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs of Spain will sign a contract on the purchase and sale of three million carbon emission rights, also known as assigned amount units (AAU), under the Kyoto Protocol.

A respective order for the agency is stipulated in Ukrainian government resolution No. 1388 of Nov. 18, which was published on Friday.
