TRIPOLI, Nov. 24 - Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Raisa Bohatyriova said she hopes that Naftogaz Ukrainy will operate on the Libyan oil and gas market.

Bohatyriova told journalists in Tripoli on Tuesday that several years ago Ukraine had the possibility of starting its own program of oil extracting in Libya when this activity demanded no licenses.

"Unfortunately, the Ukrainian side has not come close to conducting this work," Bohatyriova said.
