KIEV, Nov. 24 – Ukraine hopes that UEFA's Executive Committee will take a positive decision on Dec. 11 confirming the right of four Ukrainian cities to host the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Vasiunyk said.
"Taking into account the real progress made and a realistic assessment of our chances, this helped me, as a government representative, to state responsibly at yesterday's meeting [of the UEFA supervisory board] and today that all four Ukrainian cities are able to prepare their infrastructure [for Euro 2012] on time and at a high level," he said at a press conference in Kiev on Tuesday.
