KIEV, Nov. 25 - President Viktor Yushchenko told the government Wednesday to “urgently” continue talks with Russia to amend natural gas agreement towards lowering gas prices and hiking fee for transit of gas to the European Union.

The calls come a day after Russian gas giant Gazprom and Naftogaz Ukrayiny have signed papers reducing amount of gas that Ukraine was supposed to buy this year and next, eliminating massive penalties.
