KIEV, Nov. 18 – Ukraine has prepared about 50 energy-saving and energy-efficiency projects which could be financed by the European Commission, Deputy Prime Minister Hryhoriy Nemyria said at in Kiev on Wednesday during a roundtable entitled "Ukraine-EU: Common Energy Challenges and Prospects."

He said the EC and the governments of some countries have already expressed readiness to allocate about EUR 100 million for the implementation of such projects in Eastern European countries.
