KIEV, Nov. 18 – Ukraine's GDP showed a 2.9% rise in Q3 against Q2, according the Economy Ministry said on Tuesday.

According to the ministry, in Q2, 2009 the growth was higher from Q1, 2009 – 3.9%, while in Q1, 2009 the fall of 13.3% was registered from the previous quarter.

The ministry said that according to the State Statistics Committee, the GDP falling pace year-over-year continues slowing: from 20.3% in Q1, 2009 to 17.8% in Q2, 2009 and 15.9% in Q3, 2009.
