BRUSSELS, Nov. 12 - The European Commission has been made aware about the payment for Russian gas made by Ukraine last week and is hoping Ukraine will continue to make timely payments in the future.

European Commission official Mark Gray said at a briefing in Brussels on Thursday that the European Commission would continue to work closely with the Ukrainian authorities on the reforms that are to be conducted in Ukraine and is hoping that Ukraine will continue to make payments on time for Russian gas.
