KIEV, Nov. 9 – The general fund of the 2009 national budget will see a shortfall of UAH 40 billion in revenues, experts at the Ukrainian president's secretariat have forecast.

"One could forecast the mobilization of revenues to the state budget's national fund in an amount that will be UAH 40 billion less than the sum set in the [2009 budget] law," reads a posting on the president's official Web site.
