KIEV, Nov. 3 – The European Investment Bank will provide Ukrainian national electricity company Ukrenergo a loan of up to 150 million euro to build the 750-330-kilovolt Kakhovka substation and a 750-kilovolt transmission line from the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant to the substation.
The project was approved at the end of October, EIB said in a statement. It includes construction of an extension of the existing 330-kilovolt transmission line to the substation.
The project totals about 350 million euro.
