KIEV, Nov. 3 - Most Ukrainian mining companies reduced iron ore production significantly in January-October.
Poltava Mining, the core asset of the London-listed Ferrexpo plc, cut commercial pellet production from its own feedstock and under tolling arrangements tentatively 8.3% year-on-year in January-October to 7.202 million tons, Ferrexpo said in a press release.
This included 3.6 million tons of pellets with Fe-content of 62%, down 12.6% year-on-year; but 3.516 million tons of Fe-65%, up 5% year-on-year.
