KIEV, Oct. 30 – If the price of oil on the international markets remains at around $80 per barrel until the end of 2009, next year the price of Russian natural gas for Ukraine will rise from $208.10 per thousand cubic meters in Q4 to $229.40 in Q1, 2010 and $335.10 in Q4, 2010, according to the Kiev-based Center for Energy Studies.
The head of the center, Kostiantyn Borodin said that in Q2, 2010 the price of natural gas would be $333.70 per thousand cubic meters, and in Q3, 2010 it would be $348 per thousand cubic meters.
