KIEV, Oct. 30 – The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January-September came to UAH 24.037 billion, while the deficit of the consolidated budget reached UAH 24.568 billion.

The Finance Ministry says that in September the deficit of the national budget soared by 46%, or UAH 7.61 billion, while the deficit of the consolidated budget grew by 47% or UAH 7.872 billion.

The deficit of the budget's general fund in January-July reached UAH 24.979 billion.

The deficit of the national budget for 2009 was approved at UAH 31.178 billion, including UAH 9.244 billion for the general fund.
