KIEV, Oct. 27 – A coordination council on preventing and combat crime and corruption will be formed as a working agency of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
President Viktor Yushchenko signed a relevant decree on Oct. 27 under which a decision of the NSDC of September 11 "On the state of crime in the county and the coordination of state agencies' work on combating crime and corruption" is to come into force.
According to the decision of the NSDC, crime, especially under conditions of increasing political and financial crisis in the state, threats the national security of Ukraine.
