KIEV, Oct. 22 – Information gathered by scientific and technological intelligence units and intelligence from secret agents could serve as a basis for raising the Ukrainian economy to a European level, according to Mykola Malomuzh, chief of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
"As for the efficiency of the use of intelligence data - this need to be assessed by experts. But this data could serve as decent grounds for preventing crises – economic, energy, and financial ones, for very significant achievements in the sphere of advanced technologies, and for brining the economy to a fundamentally new technological (…), advanced level, which could be not lower than the European one," he said.
