KIEV, Oct. 21 – The debt of municipal heat supply companies to Gaz Ukrayiny for natural gas consumed since the start of the previous heating season (from Oct. 1, 2008) totals UAH 2.54 billion, and the level of its payment is 72%, the company reported on Tuesday.

The debt of OJSC Kyivenergo to the company for supplied gas exceeds UAH 706 million, and the level of payment this year is 63%.

Gaz Ukrayiny said that the largest debtors are heat suppliers of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Odessa regions. The debt of each region exceeds UAH 100 million.
