KIEV, Oct. 13 - Ukrgazvydobuvannia, the largest gas extracting enterprise in Ukraine, in January through September 2009 announced it has increased natural gas extraction by 2.8% year-on-year, to 11.389 billion cubic meters.

The company said that over the period it over-fulfilled its natural gas extraction target by 3.7%, or 411 million cubic meters.

In September, the production of natural gas totaled 1.231 billion cubic meters, which is 1.9% up year-over-year.
