KIEV, Oct. 12 – Arguing that the Ukrainian cabinet exhausted its 2009 budget limit for giving state guarantees on Aug. 5, President Viktor Yushchenko suspended the cabinet resolutions on state guarantees on credits for Ukrvaccine worth EUR 800 million, Ukragroleasing worth $100 million and Ukrmedsnab worth EUR 500 million and EUR 85 million.
"The cabinet increased state commitments on the issue of state guarantees on credits up to UAH 52.2 billion by resolutions No. 819 of August 5, No. 1012 of September 9, No. 1025 of September 16 and No. 1017 of September 23," reads a president's decree No. 815 of Oct. 9 posted on the Wed site of the head of state.
