KIEV, Oct. 2 – Stricter controls over the quality of insurance assets by the State Commission for regulating financial services markets will cause several insurance companies to close every week, Commission Chairman Viktor Suslov told reporters on Friday.

"A few insurers will close on a weekly basis in Ukraine," he said.

According to Suslov, among the problematic companies there are large insurers with whom the commission is working to improve their solvency.
