KIEV, Oct. 2 – Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn said that he wants to introduce a bill banning the sale of the state’s stake in the OJSC Odessa Port-Side Plant for the next few years.

Lytvyn announced this on Thursday during the meeting with residents of the town of Bolhrad, Odessa region, the Verkhovna Rada's press service reported.

The speaker said that he is against selling strategic enterprises, which are bringing profit to the country during the financial and economic crisis in the wake of the election campaign.
