HAISYN (Vinnytsia region), Sept. 23 – Only one year is needed to provide sugar refineries and plants with alternative sources of energy, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said this in Haisyn (Vinnytsia region) on Tuesday at the all-Ukrainian meeting dedicated to issues of sugar-beet sector.

"Correspondingly, only one year is necessary to re-equip the energy system of sugar plants so that they use coal or bio gas instead of natural gas," she said.
