Minsk, Sept. 21 - About 20 draft documents calling for more intense cooperation between the CIS member states in tackling the effects of the global financial crisis, deeper integration processes in the humanitarian sphere and security are due to be considered at a meeting of the CIS Council of heads of state in Chisinau on Oct. 9, a source at the CIS Executive Committee told Interfax in Minsk.
"One of the most important issues to be discussed by the Council is a draft resolution on joint measures to overcome the effects of the global financial and economic crisis, submitted at the Belarusian initiative," the source said.
