ALUSHTA (Crimea), Sept. 21 – The hryvnia exchange rate can't be maintained at the current level without the support of the International Monetary Fund, Ihor Mitiukov, the head of the Ukrainian office of Morgan Stanley and a former Ukrainian finance minister has said.

"We will not be able to maintain the national currency at UAH 8-9 per $1 without IMF support," he said during the 12th International Forum of Ukrainian fund market representatives in Alushta on Friday under the aegis of PFTS stock exchange.
