KIEV, Sept. 17 - Ukraine reduced oil production 6.4% to 1.965 million tons in January-August compared to the same period of 2008, the Fuel and Energy Ministry reported.

Gas condensate production fell 5.7% to 715,300 tons in the eight months.

Naftogaz Ukrayiny enterprises reduced oil production 4.9% to 1.829 million tons in the period and gas condensate output 6.2% to 649,900 tons.
