KIEV, Sept. 16 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will consider on Nov. 17 extending a $300 million loan to the national gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny for purchase of gas repayable at end of the winter heating season.

This financing will be the first phase of a two-phase loan program, the bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
