KIEV, Sept. 16 - The government will soon seek to approve regulations that would restrict sweeping gasoline and diesel price increases in the future, Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn said Wednesday.

The plans come after a special government commission has discovered price-setting “violations” in 120 gasoline retailers out of 132 that had been recently checked, he said.

“We need the regulations that would prevent unjustified price increases,” Danylyshyn told reporters.
