KIEV, Sept. 15 - Electricity consumption in Ukraine in January to August 2009, taking into account losses in electricity transmission, fell by 13.4% or 16.866 billion kilowatt-hours year-on-year, to 108.869 billion kilowatt-hours, the Fuel and Energy Ministry said.

Electricity consumption, not including losses, over the period fell by 14.2% or 14.449 billion kilowatt-hours, to 87.169 billion kilowatt-hours.
