KIEV, Sept. 11 – January through August bank revenues 2009 amounted to UAH 95.7 billion (UAH 11.5 billion in August, UAH 12.2 billion in July), while expenditures totaled UAH 111.1 billion (UAH 13.9 billion in August and UAH 15 billion in July), the National Bank of Ukraine reported.

Payments for the reserves amounted to UAH 41.6 billion, or 37.4% of the overall expenditures of the eight months, reads the report.

January through August 2008 the banks' revenues were UAH 67.9 billion, while expenditures were UAH 61 billion.
